Course Representatives

What is a Course Representative?

Course Representatives represent the views of the students on their course to the academic staff and School Representatives where required. They are elected by their fellow students and will work closely with their School Representatives on resolving any issues. Course Representatives are a vital part of the University's obligation to provide student representation.

What does a Course Representative do?

Work with the relevant academic staff and School Representatives on any issues affecting students on the course.

For example:
- Facilities
- Course materials
- Timetabling
- Clashes on submission dates

Course Representative Training Dates

Course Representative training dates are posted below. If you would like to book a place at a training session, please email representation@tees-su.org.uk. Include your name, the date you wish to book, your TUSC number and your school of study. All training takes place in the Endeavour room on the second floor of the Students' Union. Places are allocated on a first come first served basis.

Please note that Course Rep Training sessions will no longer be running this academic year. They will begin again in the next academic year.
