""I am always very happy - I feel this makes me easily approachable and I am happy to help wherever I can. I am in my Final Year at Teesside University and in my Second Year as a School Representative. Being a part of this Team has been REALLY fun and it has helped me to grow as an individual as well as strengthening my Team Work, communication and confidence in groups. I am excited about the year ahead with a GREAT team to support our fellow students throughout this Academic Year!""

"I'm in my 3rd year at Teesside and this will be my second year as a school rep. Being a school rep was an amazing experience for me to be involved in. I got the chance to help students like myself and also get an in depth look at how the university works to improve the student experience as a whole. Most importantly I had loads of fun being a school rep, made many new friends and gained some invaluable experience. I'm very sociable, love sports, games and movies but most of all love I meeting new people, so anything you are having trouble with (literally anything) feel free to get in touch :D"

I am a third year Web Development student and enjoy my course at Teesside University. This is my second year as a School of Computing Representative and I find the role very enjoyable. I am obsessed with video games and am always on a computer. I also enjoy going out and watching movies."

Achievements

- Following student feedback, School Reps contacted senior staff within the university and the LRC has now reinstated Adobe software on the 3rd floor of the Library.

- Input from the SCM Reps has resulted in the Athena lab opening hours being extended until 2am Mondays to Thursdays for longer periods of the term. The possibility of having the labs open late throughout the year and from Mondays to Fridays is being looked into

- Reps met with senior academic staff to resolve the issue of the IT labs shutting earlier than timetabled. The lab opening hours now coincide with the opening hours of the LRC.

- Due to input from the SCM Reps, the school is now revising the deadline date for changing modules at the beginning of the academic year.
