Freshers 2011 runs from Saturday, 24th September through to Saturday, 8th October 2011 with a incredible mix of fun, freebies and essential info at our daytime events for international students, freshers and all students throughout the first week. There's also a whole fortnight of the best evening entertainment anywhere including club and theme nights, live comedy, the legendary stage hypnotist Lo Reid and big name acts like Tinchie Stryder and Chase and Status perfoming live. Daytime Events

The daytime events kick off with International Orientation events on Saturday, 24th September in The Hub and around campus. This event is for new Under graduate and Post graduate International Students only and invites will be sent out for it by the University.

This is followed by the University Welcome event on Sunday, 25th September up in The Hub featuring stalls from every school, key uni support services and the SU, this event is for new students and their familes with invitations again sent out by the University. The SU building is open throughout this day however and ANY student can collect their Freshers pass or get their NUS Extra card

You're also doing your bit for the SU as 40% of every card puchased comes back to TUSU! The card is on sale from mid August and can be purchased online at www.nusextra.co.uk or here at the Students' Union from the start of September.
