Teesside University Students' Union is open to current students 7 days a week during term time. Graduates and the general public are welcome to come in to the building without an ID card weekdays during the daytime but are required to show an Associate Lifetime Membership Card or be signed in by a current student on evenings and weekends. Outside of term the Students' Union reverts to shorter opening hours and some services close, information about changes will always be published below and across our various media.
Standard SU Opening Hours
SU Building - The Students' Union building is open from 8am until late 7 days a week during term time.
SU Reception - Open 9am to 5pm weekdays, Closed at weekends.
SU Shop - Open 8am to 9pm weekdays, Open 11am to 7pm weekends.
The Terrace Bar - Open 9am until late late Mon to Fri, Open 12pm to late weekends.
The Hub - Available for student meetings, training and general activities on request and when the venue is not booked out for private hire in the daytime, open for events as advertised in the evening.
Activities Centre - Open 9am to 5pm weekdays, closed at weekends.
The Students' Union reverts to holiday opening hours from Saturday, 17th December to Tuesday, 3rd January.
Holiday Opening Hours
- The Students’ Union Shop closes after Friday, 16th December and re-opens Tuesday, 3rd January.
- The Hub closes after Friday, 16th December and re-opens Friday, 6th January
- The Terrace Bar closes after Saturday, 17th December and re-opens Tuesday, 3rd January.
- The Link Advice and Representation services are available until Thursday, 22nd December at 1pm then closed until Tuesday, 3rd January at 10am.
- The SU building is closed from 1pm on Thursday, 22nd December and re-opens on Tuesday, 3rd January at 8am.
