Knitting

A group for people that are interested in knitting or crochet. No experience required; we have a number of experienced members willing to help newcomers to the art learn the ropes.

Our goal is to provide a friendly environment where our members can socialise, relax, and learn new a skill. We plan to get involved with the community and use our projects to raise money for different charities.

We meet at 1pm on Wednesdays in the Chaplaincy Building, King Edward's Square. Until further notice we will be meeting in the Student Union due to refurbishments to King Edward's Square. Knitting needles, crochet hooks, yarn, cake, and tea/coffee are all provided! Feel free to drop in for a taster session before joining up. Information about weekly meetings and taster sessions will be detailed in our Fresher's Group, open to students interested in joining the society.

All announcements will be made on the society's Facebook page and Twitter account, and please feel free to send us a mesaage or an email if you have any questions: knitting@tees-su.org.uk
