The Digital Art Society will be running a day long trip to the Leeds Royal Armouries Museum on November 23rd. The coach will depart from the campus at 8:30am and pick up from the Royal Armouries will be at roughly 5:30pm, giving us a full day to look around the museums exhibits and the local area. The trip will be a great opportunity for anyone wanting to find out more about warfare, arms and armour from around the world, and do tons of sketching. The trip will be great for anyone on the concept art and game art courses as it offers tons of reference material and features various WETA movie props along with real weaponry. Coach space is limited to 50 seats, and members will have priority booking. Tickets will be free for paid members (who have paid the £7.50 membership cost), and for £5 for other non-member students. We recommend bringing a sketchpad and drawing medium of your choice!
