Join us on Tuesday 3rd December for The Wisdom of Psychopaths with award winning author Dr Kevin Dutton. As the talk unfolds the renowned Oxford psychologist Kevin Dutton reveals tricks of the psychological trade we never dreamt existed along with a shocking truth: that those who go where angels fear to tread often have more in common than you might think with the demons they rub shoulders with and that beneath the hype and the popular characterization psychopaths have something to teach us.
No sooner is the word out than images of murderers, rapists, suicide bombers and gangsters flash across our minds. But unlike their box-office counterparts, not all psychopaths are violent, or even criminal. Far from it. In fact, they have a lot of good things going for them. Psychopaths are fearless, confident, charismatic, ruthless and focused – qualities tailor-made for success in twenty-first-century society and found in Special Forces soldiers, top business people, and among the highest echelons of elite sport.
