30/1 – Alternative Therapies Study Day

We are holding an alternative therapies study day on Wednesday 30th January 2019. The day will run from 9-4 and cold lunch will be provided. 

 

The day is free for society members, and for non society members, a £4 fee will be paid on the day. 

 

The day will focus on exploring ways of giving women alternative methods of pain relief in the antenatal, intrapartum and postnatal period. We have brilliant speakers lined up, specialist midwives and professionals to speak about: 

 

- Pain theory

- Water birth 

- Sterile water injections 

- Hypnobirthing 

- Aromatherapy 

- Mindfulness for students

 

It will be a fantastic and valuable day, and you will learn lots! A certificate will also be given to members who attend for their portfolio. 

 

Refreshments will be available all day, and there will be a raffle, so any prizes would be greatly appreciated, with proceeds going to 4Louis.
