Senthilarasu (Senthil) Sundaram is a professor at the School of Computing, Engineering, and Digital Technologies at Teesside University. His passion for energy and sustainability in the energy sector started during his pre-doctoral research course (MPhil in Applied Physics) which led to a PhD in organic solar cell materials. He has published over 250 articles in well-reputed journals and conferences along with 7 books. Senthil currently leads the sustainable energy material-themed research at Teesside University. Before joining Teesside, Senthil was an Associate Professor in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and a Lecturer and senior lecturer at the University of Exeter, where he led the “Energy materials” group within the Environment and Sustainability Institute (ESI) where he led energy conversion and storage, and environment-friendly materials for energy applications
