Never been to a Holi event before? Join us for a fantastic experience. 

We recommend wearing white as this will show the colour best.

Wristband Collection from the welcome desk in the SU: 2:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Last Entry through gates: 4:30 pm 

You must already have your wristband from the welcome desk.

Get ready to dance to the beats of DJ Attakari and feel the rhythm of a traditional Holi with our explosion of colour and music.

We'll provide colour powder bags and water bottles to ensure everyone has a fantastic time. Please come dressed in your suitable attire and get ready to paint the town red, blue, green, and every colour of the rainbow at the Holi celebration hosted by Indian Society Teesside.

This is an ALCOHOL-FREE event. We will refuse Entry to any person under the influence of alcohol.

WRISTBAND COLLECTION

Students' Union Welcome Desk between 2 pm and 4 pm. The Welcome Desk will close at 4 pm, so please attend before this time to collect your event band.

Feel free to pick up safety goggles and 100% cotton cloth face masks for extra protection against eye irritation and the possibility of powder inhalation. This is subject to individuals' discretion.

Please take care when participating in the event and try to avoid contact with paint in your eyes and mouth. If irritation does occur, seek out a first aider at the event. The paint provided is washable and non-toxic; it may get on your skin, clothing, or personal possessions. 

Personal possessions are taken into the event space at your own risk, and the event organisers cannot be responsible for any loss or damage. 

We advise you to wear sensible and safe footwear, no flipflops or open toe shoes. Please dress according to the weather forecast. No bags will be permitted into the event space.

LAST ENTRY

The Last Entry into the event space outside will be at 4:30 pm. You need to have your wristband from the Welcome Desk before this time. Once you leave the event, there will be no re-entry. We have toilet facilities, drinking water, and first aid available within the event space.

Only paint powder provided by the Students Union may be used at this event. Please do not bring other paint, as it will be disposed of upon Entry to the event. We do not permit the use of water guns, confetti, or colour powder canons.
