This year's International Student celebration takes place on Thursday, 7th December, and we have got a jam packed night for you to attend! 

International food court - 18.00 - 20.00 - Second Floor SU – Four Food stations featuring. 

• African-inspired stew served with rice and plantains (halal) Vegetarian option also available 
• Chicken Curry with rice, naan & samosa (halal) - Vegetarian option also available 
• American Mac n Cheese with toppings (V)
• Cold buffet selection 

Plus, entertainment across two floors from 6pm

Desi Hungama (The Hub - 2nd Floor SU 8 pm-Midnight ) - Non-stop music with DJ Nandhini with percussion from Hilkin Thomas 

Afrobeats (Terrace - 1st Floor - 8 pm-Midnight ) Featuring Guest Artisit Dhanny Jazz, Hypeman - PapiChulo and DJ's Wallace & Undisputed 

Meanwhile, we will have a chilled-out games room in the Lounge from 6pm onwards (1st Floor), with more still to be announced (so keep checking back here and keep an eye on our social media). 

Guests are encouraged to come in your traditional dresses/clothes (photos to be posted on social media later for your chance to win a prize) This event is open to all students at the University.

THIS EVENT IS FREE ENTRY, AND STUDENTS GET FREE FOOD IN THE SU BETWEEN 6 pm AND 8 pm (YOU CAN BOOK ADDITIONAL TICKETS FOR DEPENDENTS FOR £3.00, AND THE PERSON THAT TICKET IS FOR MUST SEEK ENTRY AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU AND BRING AN ACCEPTABLE ID). 

IMPORTANT - Wristband Collection

You will need to collect your wristband before the event to gain entry. We will be running a wristband collection at the Students' Union Welcome Desk (1st Floor) from 17.00-22.30. You will need to show your e-ticket to get your event band. Please collect your vouchers and wristbands during the above times. 

International Student Barometer Survey

If you still need to complete the International Student Barometer Survey, you still have time! The survey is anonymous and takes just a few minutes to complete. Everyone who participates in the survey will be entered into one of two monthly prize draws for a gift voucher (Amazon). Each prize draw offers the opportunity for you to win gift vouchers in one of the following amounts: 1 x £100 - 2 x £50 - 4 x £25 . Winners will be selected at random each month between now and when the survey closes.
