Teesside University Students' Union is working with Teesside International to present a special event! International students at TU can enjoy music, dance, drinks, and more at this FREE and fun-packed event! You can expect two floors of entertainment featuring….

Afrobeats (Terrace - 1st Floor - 20.00 -00.30) Featuring DJ - Undisputed DJ Wallace & Special Performance By ->> Dhannyjazz "The Saxifier 🎷 "MC / Hypeman — PapiFEXZY Plus Live Band Sessions, Famous Shijazz & STURGEE plus food from Daddy's Kitchen inc Grilled Fish (Catfish /Tilapia), Asun Gizz Dodo, Jollof Rice and Lots More .....

Meanwhile, we will have a chilled-out games room and World Cup football coverage in the Lounge (1st Floor), with more still to be announced (so keep checking back here and keep an eye on our social media). 

THIS EVENT IS FREE ENTRY, AND STUDENTS GET A FREE DRINK FOR THEIR GUESTS (YOU CAN BOOK ONLY ONE EXTRA TICKET ON TOP OF YOUR OWN, AND THE PERSON THAT TICKET IS FOR MUST SEEK ENTRY AT THE SAME TIME AS YOU AND BRING AN ACCEPTABLE ID). 

IMPORTANT - Wristband Collection

You will need to collect your wristband before the event to gain entry. We will be running a wristband collection at the Students' Union Welcome Desk (1st Floor) from 18.00-22.30. You will need to show your e-ticket to get your event band. 

It would be best if you collected your vouchers and wristband during the above times. You need to collect your wristband to be able to gain access to the event. 

Prize Draw

We have some exciting goody bags kindly offered by Teesside University partners, Emirates, up for grabs in our prize draw. You can enter at the event on the night! Winners will be selected at random from the entries received.

International Student Barometer Survey

If you've not yet had the chance to complete the International Student Barometer Survey, you still have time! The survey is anonymous and takes just a few minutes to complete. At the end of the survey, which is conducted by independent research firm i-graduate, the university will analyse the results and consider your views when planning future investments and developments.

You should have received an email in your student inbox from teesside@qemailserver.com, which contains a link to the survey, which is open until 19th December.

Everyone who participates in the survey will be entered into one of two monthly prize draws for a gift voucher (Amazon or Jingdong). Each prize draw offers the opportunity for you to win gift vouchers in one of the following amounts: 1 x £100 - 2 x £50 - 4 x £25

Winners will be selected at random each month between now and when the survey closes.
