Thinking of running in the Student Officer and/ or NUS National Conference Rep Elections 2023 (tees-su.org.uk/elections)??? Why not book a place (only 15 per session available) to chat with the Deputy Returning Officer (DRO). This is the senior TUSU staff member who will oversee the running of the elections and ensure rules are followed, as well as making a final judgement on any complaints. 

He will give you a quick guide to what to think about before you stand, eligibility for being a candidate and the rules. You can then put any questions you have to him.

Sessions take place from 11.30 am to 12 pm then 12.30 pm to 1 pm, and you should only book a place at ONE of them. Do not worry if you cannot attend either, plenty of info is available on the elections website and there will be more sessions closer to nominations opening and closing to gather info face to face.
