The Podcast & Radio Society of Teesside University is a vibrant and dynamic student-led group that aims to provide a platform for students who are passionate about podcasting and radio broadcasting. Our society strives to achieve several goals this year, including promoting creativity, fostering collaboration, and enhancing the overall student experience. One of our primary objectives is to encourage students to explore the world of podcasting and radio by organizing workshops and training sessions. Through these activities, we aim to equip our members with the necessary skills and knowledge to produce high-quality content, including scripting, interviewing, editing, and sound production.

In addition to skill development, our society also aims to create a supportive and inclusive community. We believe that collaboration is key to success in the creative industry, and thus, we encourage our members to work together on various projects, such as creating podcasts, hosting radio shows, and organizing events. This not only will help students build their professional networks but also fosters a sense of camaraderie and friendship within the society and the SU in general.

Furthermore, we are dedicated to providing opportunities for our members to showcase their talent and creativity. We plan to organize regular podcast competitions, where students can submit their work and have the chance to be recognized and celebrated for their outstanding contributions.

Additionally, we aim to collaborate with other societies, guests and organisations to host live radio broadcasts and interactive events on campus, offering our members valuable exposure and the chance to engage with a wider audience. We are dedicated and committed to nurturing the creative potential of our members, building a sense of oneness, and providing a platform for students to express themselves through the powerful mediums of podcasting and radio broadcasting.
