International Student Barometer (ISB)

The ISB is a prestigious, internationally recognised survey which runs each year and gives international students at participating universities the chance to feedback on a range of aspects of their student experience, including teaching and learning, facilities, support and, of course, the Students' Union! We are thrilled to say we consistently receive very high ratings from international students in the survey, and, in 2023, our ratings were high enough for us to finish as one of the Top 5 Students' Unions in the UK! It was another very welcome endorsement of the collective efforts our Officers, Student Reps and staff make to support all students and particularly those who may be living and studying in the UK for the first time. 
 

Best Bar None Scheme

This scheme recognises Students' Unions with best practice when running licensed premises and exceptional standards of training for the staff who work within them. TUSU has secured gold status for the past eight years and has been accredited for over a decade, recognising our responsible approach to serving alcohol and running safe, welcoming venues. In the 2023 results, we were delighted to receive a rating of 100% from the Best Bar None auditors.
