The Students’ Union boasts a range of versatile and interchangeable spaces which includes an open plan, multipurpose venue which is ideal for larger gatherings. The largest venue we have available; this flexible space can accommodate up to 600 seated guests, host up to 60 exhibition stalls and comes fully equipped with a large counter, stage, audio and lighting facilities, 3 large projection screens and 9 50” HD Screens around the room. It boasts an integrated AV system and a purpose built DJ booth as well as the ability to accommodate live music on stage.

The Hub is an ideal choice for any special celebration, live entertainment, conferences and meetings and sporting events.



The Terrace offers the functionality of a restaurant combined with the relaxed vibe of a chic bar. It features a large projection screen, as well as multiple HD plasma screens situated around the venue and built in audio systems. The stylish booth seating offers relaxed and comfortable space for guests, whilst the rest of the space is interchangeable to suit an occasion. The Terrace has a fully adjustable, integrated, RGB lighting system, illuminated columns and a pixel wall feature.

The Terrace can be divided into two separate spaces or used as a single space for a variety of events including, but not limited to, celebrations weddings, conferences and live entertainment.



The Lounge is an intimate space, with an abundance of natural light, that is perfect for breakout activities, as an additional dining room and ideal as a christening space. It can also be used for seminars and meetings. It features a retractable projector screen, HD plasma screens, intimate booth seating and two meeting spaces for small groups. For extra privacy, the room comes equipped with sliding doors to partion the space.



The Studio space can be used for a host of different events but is particularly well suited to conferences and presentations. It may also be used in conjunction with The Hub; two sets of double doors directly connect the rooms allowing the studio to be used as additional dining space, a breakout room, and even as a food service room. The room comes equipped with a plug and play AV system which is perfect for presentations on our wall mounted 70” HD Screen. Microphones and lecterns are also available for use in this room.


Located on our second floor, The Studio meeting rooms come equipped with a plug and play AV system which allows laptops and other devices to be connected to the HD screens mounted in either room. The meeting rooms can be connected for larger gatherings through the sliding wall that divides the two spaces.
